➽ Die Getreidegasse befindet sich in der Altstadt und ist Salzburgs wohl berühmteste, historische Gasse. Sie beherbergt, unter anderem, das Geburtshaus von Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (PiP 1) . Die hohen schmalen Häuserreihen mit zahlreichen schmiedeeisernen Zunftzeichen über den alten Verkaufsläden vermitteln, samt den vielgestaltigen Durchgangshäusern und Innenhöfen, ein in sich geschlossenes Bild einer mittelalterlich geprägten Straße, die auch an Regentagen gut besucht ist (eigene Anmerkung)! It houses, among others, the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (PiP 1) . The tall, narrow rows of houses with numerous wrought iron guild signs over the old retail stores convey, together with the multifarious passage houses and courtyards, a self contained image of a medieval-themed street, which is well attended even on rainy days (own note)! ➽ Der Berghof war das Landhaus Adolf Hitlers am Obersalzberg. Hitler verbrachte etwa ein Drittel seiner Regierungszeit auf dem Berghof, also zusammengerechnet fast 4 Jahre. In der ersten Hälfte des Jahres 1944 diente es als Führerhauptquartier. Das Gebäude wurde kurz vor Kriegsende durch alliierte Luftangriffe und durch die SS schwer beschädigt. 1952 ließ der Freistaat Bayern das Gebäude sprengen. Hitler spent about one-third of his reign at the Berghof, so added together almost 4 years. In the first half of the year 1944 it was used as the Fuehrer's headquarters. Shortly before the war ended the building was severely damaged by Allied air raids and by the SS. The Free State of Bavaria let blow the building in 1952. ➽ Die 200 kg schwere Stühle-Skulptur "Did you find your place?" des Österreichischen Künstlers und Clowns Heimo Thiel wurde von unbekannten Tätern in die Salzach geworfen. Die Feuerwehr barg die Skulptur und legte sie am Ufer ab. (Eigentlich sollte sie senkrecht stehen) Quelle: Salzburger Nachrichten ________________ ➽ The 200-kg sculpture of chairs "Did you find your place?" by the Austrian artist and clown Heimo Thiel was thrown by unknown assailants in the River Salzach.
