Der Westgiebel der neugotischen Stiftskapelle wurde mit Raseneisenstein gestaltet.
Raseneisenstein (auch Klump genannt) ist ein poröses Eisenerz, welches in der Umgebung oberflächennah abgebaut und teilweise als Baumaterial, aber auch zur Verhüttung genutzt wurde.
