Seit über hundert Jahren wird in Itzehoe Theater gespielt; seit September 1992 im neuen "theater itzehoe". Entworfen wurde es von Gottfried Böhm, erbaut mit einem Kostenaufwand von ca. 20 Mio. Euro. Zwischen 570 und 1100 Plätze – je nach Bestuhlung. Die ovale, zirkuszeltartige Bauweise begünstigt die Multifunktionalität des Theaters. ...
