Rainbows

As rainfall comes in over the sea we see rainbows come and go in the distance. This is actually looking over Trevaunace Cove towards Cligga Head. Bawden Rocks are sometimes called Man and His Man! Back in Digley Reservoir country and as we see another rainbow we also come across this horse and trap. Two, local farmers it seems giving the horse some exercise and grandfather an outing. They seemed to have come across something interesting here? ps, I am reminded that this is a mule, not a horse! Enjoy the day

A walk on the beach at Minehead, especially with a child or dog must always be a pleasant experience. Today the walkers have a special treat with this lovely rainbow. Photographed from the top edge of the promenade wall and path. Enjoy full size.

Dec 2012: We were astounded at this spot on the Göta Kanal here in Gothenburg when we saw this. If my wife had not seen it too, I might have thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. This is actually termed a 'fog-bow' too. - "In many cases when the droplets are very small, fog bows appear white, and are therefore sometimes called white rainbows" This has been posted as an accompaniment to the adjacent 'Fog Bow over Dovestones'- PiP

One from a walk around Digley reservoir not too far from my home in Oldham. It started off with a sunny bright morning but on our way back the clouds opened and we had heavy rain but soon it cleared again and introduced this rainbow.
