Love this shot Herb.........the tall, skinny trees make it perfect for the portrait orientation and the covering of snow on the branches and in the landscape is very attractive. The little bridge catches the eye nicely!

I spotted the dog and it's owner too, couldn't see a fence though :-)))

Always good to have your presence here Keith. I liked the tall snow covered trees as you do too. Glad you saw the bridge and the dog with its owner. The owner on the bridge itself was not easy to spot.
I know what you are talking about re the fence. For some time in this group I was not happy to see things masquerading as fences but as time passed by I realised that this is a fun group really and the rules can be seen as being somewhat loose. I think these fence railings are much closer to real fences however than many other walls, sticks, hedges and even cliffs I see here often but who's judging?

It's nice to notice how those leaves and the bark of trees yield a bit of colour to this photo, otherwise mistaken for monochrome! Belated HFF, Herb!
