View south over Trevellas Cove

View south over Trevellas Cove
Walking over St Agnes head, we start to descend to Trevellas Cove and civilisation. As we see here, millions of years of being pounded by the Atlantic Ocean has its effect as seen in these caves and rock formations. Now that it is late autumn, the bright colours of the heathers shown here have somewhat receded.

Essential full screen.

Don't think I ever took a shot from here even though I passed it often enough. Not sure why I didn't!

Haha, good to know that I managed a scene that you have not got from this bit of coastline. I can quite understand though how easy it is to miss a scene when out, even when passing the same place numerous times. In fairness, it was not obvious at all that this scene would present itself like this, as it was not visible at all at eye level from the path. Something for you to correct on your next visit perhaps.

Cheers again. Herb

Sea views are always of wild beauty, with blue sky, fog or gray weather - it's always a splendor (for me ;-))

So beautifully captured Herb! I love all the caves along that coast. You can see why it was so popular with the pirates :-) Cheers, Rosa.

I have just realised that the real reason is that I used to come here in the days before I had a camera or a cameraphone! I don't think I've been here since 2010 when I last lived in Cornwall. All my photos have been from subsequent summer holidays from Spain, when I at least had a cameraphone!
