Ah yes, as we go around nowadays we find ourselves in a scary mixed up situation. My brother has just returned from a week's luxury cruise along the south and west of England to Scotland. Both he and his wife both being 'vulnerable' had their jabs early. They have both caught Covid on the ship. Now my brother is quite ill but slowly getting better (not had to be hospitalised, thank goodness). So when we are near other people, even older ones, we cannot guarantee not having the virus passed on to us. A far cry from our grand hopes when we first had those jabs. We try to play safe but - we cannot simply isolate forever.

I don't blame you for still being careful. Jackie and I visited a National Trust property today, but didn't go inside the house because there were too many people about and despite requests to do so, not everyone was wearing a mask indoors.

Following some comments Herb- Unfortunately while on Chemotherapy I have to avoid everyone and everything but perhaps one day I will get to see the big top again.

Good to see you Maurice. Hope that things are progressing nicely with your Chemo. Yes, one day perhaps, thing will be Really Normal not this pretend normal. My brother now had C19 and he is quite ill but not needed hospitalization -contacted on a luxury cruise.
