Saltburn Pier side view

A look at the side of this long pier at Saltburn by the Sea. I read now that this is down to only one of the present 54 pleasure piers left in Britain (out of hundreds in the past). Saltburn's Victorian pier was the first iron pier to be built on the North East Coast and is the most northerly surviving British Pier besides the only remaining pleasure pier on the North East coast. Behind, we see the cliffs of Saltburn Scar above of which runs the long distance Cleveland Way path

A beautifully composed image with gorgeous diffused light and some nice clouds. An almost deserted beach too..........just perfect. I like the PiP as well.
Parallel, the coast line appears
Fantastic composition with splendid tones and light , Herb!
PIP is also graceful!
Cheers, Herb
