A winters walk

We must be the lucky ones here Herb, plenty of rain but no snow so far. It's a lovely winters scene anyway, HFF and a good, safe weekend for you.

Nice to see you again Maurice. ice and mist for us today but our walk took us to hills with some snow still on from yesterday. Just about 2 miles from us here but we had none!

Nice one Herb, like to colours provided by the playground equipment. A right old mixture here by the coast. Rain, sleet and snow, bit of a mess really.

Of course when we were young we used to have a good foot of snow, and then go out to play... in short trousers too. And make slides in the school playground... None of this 'snow days' or 'elf n safety' then!

Hi Peter -have missed your presence here too. Something a little different here from me. I do indeed take photos other than landscapes. Aye, I remember the days too, as a kid when we had snow so high I walked through dug-out paths that I could not see over the sides. As you say, the elf & safety would forbid that nowadays :) ~ Glad you liked this.

Very glad you enjoyed this capture my friend. This playground had been closed since March but was open on this day again. Too cold for children and parents I guess but a week later as I passed here there were some children with their mum here.
