Thanks for this Sarah. Always good when a photo ends up well and people react to it.. As you say-long exposure sea shots are now somewhat kitsch but they can still look nice (as I have still to post some of mine from Ireland) - if done right. This is relatively fast at 0.5sec and so still retrains that normal photographic freeze of the movement and clarity. A wonderful spot just meteres from our rented villa here. I took a lot but this was the best of the long exposures.

I think the 'full size' effect depends somewhat on your screen. The photo is 2400x1557 and the aspect ratio is well suited for Ipernity via Chrome and my desktop monitor (at 27") so full screen on black looks excellent but I also know that different browsers don't always display as I see them. My Apple Ipad shows only the top 75% of the picture in full landscape mode . Ah well.
