The Second day we wanted to go to the (Ice cream Dunes) you had to prepare well camera in a bag sealed with tape on the front lens hood. sand blew every where we also where covered in sand stuck to our skin. if it had not have been blowing so much i would have happily gone in deeper but the sand was so soft it was quite scary. note the two colours the darker more golden sand was quite firm while the white was soft as flour. ENJOY.

Planning and clouds paid off my first ever visit to a place i have always wanted to go to. A truly unreal spot.

As an Astro photographer i am always on the look out for the perfect spot. Rocks Southerly aspect no city light pollution, no body going to crowd you out. only problem the shot is taken with a 600mm lens only way to get here is by helicopter no boat access with the high swell and smooth sides. {:o(((
