One of natures true native Bonsai's. This is all over the huge granite outcrops i take photos on. at the moment the plant is turning green and the moss also its winter its raining and the plant comes to life. in summer its a bright orange "Autumn like" in hibernation till the rains come next winter. lives just as you see it in that much or less soil as this has as it straight off the rock onto this Granite plate. no fertiliser on added water this plant will live apart from the rest like it was living on the rock to live the same seasons. the plant is no more than 40mm high has white flowers in winter..... this is a big learning curve. look at the first two photos. No matter what the camera and lens still taped away behind a bag. The tripod is wearing big feet from plastic bottle so it does not sink in the sand.

once the sun went down and it was time to leave the dunes . Pieter and i thought it a good idea to do a panorama of the front of the Dunes. The real night has yet to come enjoy the colours of Western Australia at Sun down.

Once the sun got very low the colour really showed on the white sand you did not get many shots walking in the sand.

The Second day we wanted to go to the (Ice cream Dunes) you had to prepare well camera in a bag sealed with tape on the front lens hood. sand blew every where we also where covered in sand stuck to our skin. if it had not have be blowing so much i would have happily gone in deeper but the sand was so soft it was quite scary. note the two colours the darker more golden sand was quite firm while the white was soft as flour. ENJOY.
