I have been confined to my laptop as the desk top is playing up. I found this shot I had edited but never posted. I only had the 14mm but I was able to borrow my night shooter 16-35 mm lens. A look back in time.

This was from beginning to end the last moon is where it set. . this panorama was taken at max moon coverage to get a real background for the moons. I will apologize at this if it seems out, my main computer is down and this is done and almost no edit on the laptop. Enjoy the briefest 4 hours and the net result.
PIP thats where the shots came from under the Wind Vane
Foot note:- I was able to spend more time on the SLOW laptop( found out my memory lapse in editing) and get the extra moon which has a flat bottom as it was the last moon and was sitting on Garden Island.

This Bonsai comes from my 16' street tree I have some 7 plants that came from seeds for the street tree. These all grew in our pots around our house
This one was OK but had very UGLY roots so last September 2018 I decided to try and "Layer" the tree off the old truck so getting a full set of new roots. The tree one year later has produced a full spread around the truck after spending 9 months in a big pot. It was a case of remove the whole lot protecting the roots as much as possible then raking them clear of the soil . Wash the soil completely away from the roots ready for trimming to fit inside the pot I had chosen for it.The tree has had the last of the old truck cut off below the root line, all the roots spread out flat (After a hair cut to fit the pot) to get use to a bonsai pot and further thicken below the ground level.
Next year I will repot and lift the plant higher to show the roots on the surface.now the real shaping begins. The wires are to just support the trunk in one position and not to move in the winds.
PIP one the mother tree the seeds came from.
PIP two The Layer started and all wrapped up.
PIP three The bad roots below and the new roots starting to grow.

What can you do when you have no clouds clear skies but you are at home because its a full moon. This is very basic alignment and 33 shots taken on the tracker on moon mode and stacked together. Enjoy a Full moon taken just after it came up over the roof at 8pm.
This is well worth looking at it full size on black.
