You have no idea this has been worse than having twins BUT its up and running tonight I am fighting clouds but getting better results after Adjusting....

What great kit Steve you must be very proud of your acievement's I take my hat of to you.

It is quite as you say most of this has come about from out of the box thinking the legs a total disaster but best way round this. I was given only one 5kg weight when I bought this new at a cost of $120 and new set of legs $300. i found a 5kg Weight lifting weight and bought three 1.25kg weightlifting weights at the princely sum of $5 the wood cost me $50 I will let you work out the savings for a pensioner. none the less I am staggered just how well this came together.

Photo 2 after setting the mirrors looks outstanding but I am fighting clouds so its a muggs game when your feet are firmly planted here on earth. Still I am now enjoying the fruits on the last three years to have reached this point an able to get images I am proud to share. Many thanks glad that this is not too far away from your normal photography it get missed.

Missed the beany at first Steve. Your set-up here is a sight for sore-eyes. A special bonus you getting it right at the very low extra cost. It all looks promising now. Good luck!

The beany was a tip for Brendan the true Guru and Carlos's mentor Skywatcher in the infinite wisdom put in a white bottom rather than black or dark so no light leaks through. what you are really looking at is 100% all the bits that ran the ED80 are all here but for some new parts to fit to the telescope. The way I set up the ED80 is very much the way I set this up I know its big but its 98% air as its a mirror collecting the light. I hope its not luck but a good understanding and management.

I have earned the Nickname MacGyver from Carlos as I tend to do thing myself and fix them, I am happy that I am still able to as I get older.

On that I agree nothing like a 55 inch Oled screen the bigger the better....... What comes next you will enjoy panel 1 of four is just blowing me away and I get it full screen WOW.
