Vela Super Nova Remnant

Vela Super Nova Remnant
This is a 4 night Two panel shot join is in the middle of the two shots. As I am able to rotate the Nikon 300mm F4 prime on its lens clamp I marked the degrees so I could rotate to suit camera angle. once done I got an error reading each night 1.4 degrees.

the two panels joined perfectly with next to no step between the two panels. I am impressed so much I am almost willing to for go the Auto Focus with the belt to be able to rotate the camera.

Not only a face. I'm looking down on a superhero who has consumed waaay toooo many steroids. :-) He seems to be striding through some fog or smoke.

That part is true the colours here are not made up they are the natural look and most would never see it at all. the more I look out into space there is so much to find out there. A little bit of thinking found the solution to a problem of rotation which is really only used for when you are making a mosaic single shots you dont have to worry about rotation cause the movement is the same in each shot or should I say night shooting.

I am night one of shooting with filters so have 3 nights to go then my first real photo will be taken with mono camera and filters then its put it all together... next week we will see the result.. Many thanks for the comment.

A wonderful and interesting picture, which I like very much!
What you manage to achieve is fantastic!
Many years ago, only a select few could ever hope to see this kind of thing from a telescope at the top of a very high mountain. These days a select few can use technology to get the same result! As always, I am impressed!!

Peter this allows me to use all my Nikon Prime lens to ass to what the telescope can do . this is my 300MM prime lens I bought for space as it had no auto focus just manual. yes to have the proper mount and set up this is from my back yard in the city.

this just goes to prove there is just so much out in space. my next photo will be the most interesting. many thanks and for me it some that fill in the nights.
