Snake Nebula B72

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snake_Nebula

Jupiter In front of the Milky way

Snake is almost dead center of the shot next to Jupiter.

this is 44 shot on the only night in lock down to be able to shoot now its back into rain and clouds.
44 Shots 10min each till the tree got in the way. when you see the number of stars in this one shot really puts thing into perspective.

its Just above our head but we never get to see it brought to life. A photographic discipline that most would shy away from but one I am enjoying. many thanks.

Yes, I know, it's above our heads. But unfortunately you see it all too rarely, not because you don't want to, but because you can't anymore. :-/

You talking Light pollution I guess on that score we are quite lucky but this is shot from the edge of the city at home. I enjoy the wide field here out of the city its so dark.

Yes, exactly: light pollution! In our small country it's almost everywhere. If i want to see a sky like yours here, i have to go to very remote places => like this. :-)
