Port Of Port Hedland

Looking at the flowing water is so soothing...

What you dont get from the photo is the very high heat and the very high humidity. I have to agree it was a peace full spot with all the noise of the big ships and loading all about. the water certainly was very lovely with the reflected light from the jetty on it. A few more to come.

I am in shorts and would enjoy the cool, this was first night I Port Hedland after this the cyclone clouds came in over us . Nice spot for me as well.

The place has some good things about it humidity was not one of them , I dont mind the heat but hate the humidity. I agree with you but we did what we said we would I s a place I will not hurry back to any time soon.

Did you go up north for a break, Steve? Pretty muggy at this time of year. Is this where you did your sky watching? Keep cool....D

We went for a 16th Birthday and to give a camera as a present and catch up with family living in Port Hedland.



It was not my idea of a great place to visit ,its more a stop to go to other places 4 or 5 hours drive away. my night shot are done from Perth at my home or family farm. we are about to get a drenching. which will only make this place feel like Port Hedland as the humidity of the rain evaporating . keep cool is certainly the go at the moment.

This port is quite a place the size of those ships are not to a scale we are aware of ,HFF you keep yourself safe.
