Nothing like Europe but I hope for those that followed a learning curve other than just my self.

Herb we both know that is not going to happen but it was one of those experiences you cant turn down. while I missed more than I got, while I did not get the chance to do many places the justice they deserve, while there is more that given time you could say could have been done even better. As a person who loves photos and getting the best this was a very poor shoot but one I know I will not get again in my life time. Distance why would I need to do those again as its some thing that is a real problem not one of those just down the road shoots.

Glad you like the whole set of shot many I know I would never have got If I had stayed at home.......

Hi Steve

Thank you so much for sharing your adventures with us. It is very hard for us here in Europe to comprehend the scale of your country, and the absence of people.
Maybe one day I may get to see it, but unlikely. It is only through people like yourself who make the pictures that we get to appreciate it..

Best Wishes, and a good weekend

Peter

Peter even for me who has been here 46 years I am comfortable here in WA and travelling. God knows I can travel 3 hours to get a few stars. Let alone travel any thing like this distance brings a whole new scale to long distance. I have to say many times in Greece in 82' "you must know my cousin In Sydney" they where always perplexed when I said thats 4000Km away yes I know him well. It was not only some thing new for you but it helped me understand distance / time / environment that makes up this great land.

Glad to have you along as well.

Is this on the Great Eastern, around Greenmount? Sure looks like it. I see it each time I drive into Perth from Northam. It really is a wonderful view of the city and never fails to give me a thrill. I hope the trip was a good and interesting one. I remember us travelling across the Nullabor at Christmas 2000, setting off at 5.30 in the morning and driving all day from Mandurah towards the border and still being in WA when we stopped thirteen hours later! We have such a big and empty wide brown land.

Beautiful, evocative pictures. Thanks for sharing them with us.

It sure Is and a shot I have always seen as I drove down the hill the bus gave me the chance to get the shot I was after. We live in a huge state let alone the whole country some thing you have to drive to understand. Many thanks.
