Part 12 Chick 1

Great result. Fabulous! You must have been thrilled!!!!

Andy to have this so close to home (just outside the window) is something i would have only imagined in a dream. i look forward to tomorrow as i know whats to happen over night. i will try and pick out the pieces of the eggs for a macro shot inside tomorrow. i have watched the bird feed the chick today as well but its a bitterly cold day so she has not left the nest much. i see our front yard getting cleared of bugs and potential food for the chick.

the sad part was we had the grand kids over for school holidays for the week i told them we may see the chick friday. missed by 12 hours but have sent them the shot so they dont feel they missed out.

Trilled alright almost like a grand father all over again.

Thanks its been a great story to watch unfold. to go about life and leave her be we are able to clean the room make the bed, water the rose and all the while she has remained on the nest. Part i think as its cold and she knows she HAS to keep them warm and got use to us as no treat (other than shots like this up a set of steps looking down outside but i try to choose when she is not home).
