Poirier sauvage,(Pyrus pyraster)
Le Poirier sauvage est une espèce de poirier. Cet arbre est assez rare, et il est difficile de le distinguer du Poirier commun.Arbre de développement limité à 11-15 mètres de hauteur, à cime piramidale. Ecorce fissurée et écailleuse. Présence d'épines sur les rameaux (ce qui le différencie du Pommier sauvage. Feuilles simples, dentées et pétiolées, limbe ovale ou arrondi et luisant sur le dessus, fleurs blanches hermaphrodites, très précoces donnant de petites poires âcres de 3 à 4 cm.
