Cooper's Hawk...

...on the hedge in front of our bedroom window. The bird was trying to catch a sparrow. We have many dozens of sparrows that come to our feeders every day. It was amazing to watch this hawk climb through the dense hedge, in and out and then finally resting on top of the hedge with its wings spread out to support itself.
