Doerthe club has replied to Ronald Losure clubUnfortunately, the location is not good for these plants, because last Fall the still somewhat wild place was shaved down to the bare ground with big mowers. That may have been the reason why this year there are no more Cardinal flowers. I am sad that I have no power to prevent the destruction of this last little island of nature in our neighborhood.
