Selten, dass man einen Schmetterling direkt im Sand sieht..macht sich aber sehr gut Doerthe!

Seit vielen Jahren hab ich am Strand der Great Lakes Schmetterlinge gesehen, sie sitzen im Sand, weil sie dort 'trinken' koennen und Mineralien im feuchten Sand aufnehmen koennen. Die Maennchen aller Schmetterlingsarten brauchen bestimmte Mineralien noetig zur Fortpflanzung.
