Excellent portrait, Dörthe. I can almost see his red belly. ;-) And I think I see the maple buds are swelling.

Thanks, Ron! You're right, there are a few feathers on his belly that have some color. The buds look like that all winter and the severe cold weather the past few days have not made any difference in how they look. Today 4" snow, then rain all afternoon, very strange for this time of year.
