Most of my Pontederia have white flowers, but I have a few of these purple ones.

Further west the eclipse was total. I'm glad I woke up a little early so I could see this.

This hummingbird was filling up on sugar syrup. She is feeding her babies in their nest a few hundred feet away.

It was a very dark, rainy morning. Three Cooper's hawks, presumably and adult and two juveniles, were making lots of noise, flying between trees and electrical poles.
