At first I thought it was a dragonfly, but is actually an owlfly. They raise their abdomens when at rest so they look like a twig.

A very short history of Asker Garip: His mother was a collie, and he was given to me as a puppy in 2012 by my friend Heather. His name is from a Turkish folk character and was suggested by my Panoramio friend Suzen Ivanova.
