Mollusk fossils

Mollusk fossils
While walking to the power station to photograph the vultures, I noticed a fossilized mollusk shell in the ditch. On my return walk, I noticed a second fossil. I suppose they eroded out of the soil above the ditch. They are not a pair of shells, but two individuals. I am here holding them together.

Yes, I should walk along the road more often. There are many nearby things we rarely notice.
