Thanks, Pam. I doubt you are seeing little egrets. The Audubon Field Guide says they have only been seen on the Atlantic coast. More likely in OK would be snowy egrets or cattle egrets. Behavior sounds like cattle egrets.

They come in the late Spring to find the cows they left behind late last Summer !!
