How did it turn out as far as texture? Is it solid or crumbly. Ours was a perfect consistency, easy to slice and wonderful to eat shortly after baking and also later as toast. Richard already said he would like another loaf.

It is very solid and chewy, which is how I like bread. I'll definitely make it again. I let the bread machine do the first kneading, then I kneaded it by hand twice before baking.
