Bald eagle watching intruder

Bald eagle watching intruder
An adult bald eagle flew over this eagle's nest, and it went to a nearby snag to watch and defend the eaglet. A week before, there had been two eaglets. It is speculated that another eagle captured one eaglet, so parents are now extra vigilant.

It had been on the nest with its mate feeding the eaglet. When it flew to this snag, I ended my video and hurried a little distance to where I could see it.
