Maesbury lift bridge

Maesbury lift bridge
The Morton Farm Lift Bridge, (No 82a), was constructed to enable the passage of farm animals and equipment across the canal. We have walked this stretch of canal numerous times and have never seen the lift bridge down until now.

Three super images of this unusual bridge.............I love the details and the reflections in the main image and the first PiP, but the best image for me is the one in the 2nd PiP. The light is just gorgeous and your composition is spot on. I love the reflections too and the gorgeous sky.

Excellent series of photo, Amelia. I like that last photo the best, with the bridge up and the view of the canal and the surrounding area. We've always wanted to do a holiday in England on a canalboat, but it doesn't look to me as though they could get past this bridge.
