Wells lifeboat station

www.wellslifeboat.org
For recent call outs see above.
The coastline length around mainland Great Britain is 11,072.76 miles [17,819.88 km], and the sea can be treacherous. This is a Royal National Lifeboat Institution building. The boats are used for saving lives at sea, and the folks who man them are all volunteers, who risk their own lives ever time there is a call out.
There are 238 RNLI lifeboat stations around the coasts of Great Britain, Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.

I have been here a few times, it is a lovely place. Last but one visit I managed to take a trip out on "Lucy Lavers" ...
Interesting architecture. I guess it is a low tide. And they are supposedly garage building for boat repairs etc.
Sami Serola (inactiv… club has addedAmazing place and way how they move those boats!
