These beach-huts are privately owned, Gudrun, and the owner of the brown one needs to maintain the colourful facade I think. I much prefer these than the other council owned ones.

True, the others have that prefabricated look. These may all be built the same way but they look all different:-)

These are definitely superior and detached residences. But they are just still sheds. ;-)

I can imagine these cost as much as a small house in some parts of the world! Wonderful things, beach huts.

You're dead right. For a shed they ask for silly prices, although not as much as prices in some seaside towns. ;-)

I remember childhood days when we would occasionally rent one to the day (on the south coast) for very little money... love them.. it was another world.
