I did some experiments with various file types uploaded to ipernity. Results were amazing! It's a big surprise - ipernity can display (but cannot edit) photos uploaded in RAW format. Display quality of these RAW photos is almost perfect. Quite unique feature, I think.

Bad things come together. Not only Panoramio is closing down. But also the future of ipernity is bad. In fact, there is only very short near future left.

Unlike Panoramio, ipernity offers sofisticated tools helping you to protect your copyright and privacy. You need not to be worried about uploading full resolution original photos. You can disable access to your original works to anybody but you. But if you are generous and you want to share and give the access to your originals - go ahead, nobody can stop you to do it this way. Or do anything in between.

Recent changes on Panoramio made me to look for Panoramio alternatives. So I've made some review about these alternatives...
