Folder albums: new bloc for your homepage

[EN] A new bloc "Latest folder albums" is at your disposal to enhance your home page.

This bloc displays the first folder displayed on your album page.
By default it is the latest folder which you have created.

Also this bloc does not appear on your home page automatically. To display it and decide where it will appear you need to go to this page:
Display and layout settings / Content of your home page

Ce bloc présente le premier dossier affiché sur votre page Albums.
Par défaut, il s'agit du dernier dossier que vous avez créé.

Par défaut, le bloc n'apparaît pas sur votre page d'accueil.
Pour l'afficher et choisir la place où il apparaîtra, rendez-vous dans :
Paramètres / Mise en page / Contenu de votre page d'accueil

autofantasia ^club

Is this option supposed to allow you to display just one single album on your home page? If so it isn't working. I've added it in my settings, but it isn't being displayed. Can anyone clarify or help me out here?

It's supposed to allow you to display the most recently created FOLDER of albums, not a single album. And it does work as such....

I like this feature, however, it would be more useful if we could choose which folder of albums to display instead of being just the most recent one. The folder I want to display has 20 or so albums in it, but I can't display it because it wasn't the most recently created...

The folder displayed is the first listed in your albums page. By default, folders are displayed from the latest to the oldest, but you can manually change the display order of your folders.

The folder you'll put at first will be the one displayed on your home page.

I understand I can rearrange my folders, etc.... The point is, I have them arranged to my preference. It would be nice to just have the option to choose a folder without having to change one's arrangement scheme.

This is nice BUT, as Fizgig says, this would be more useful if we could choose the folder we want to display. With the system as it is now, it is always the first folder on the album page that is displayed. I understand that we can change the order of folders on the album page, but this is not too good. I like to display my folders in alphabetical order, e.g., France, Latvia, Spain, USA. For the moment, France will always be displayed, unless I either create a Belgium folder (or something like that) or change the folder order on the album page. You get the idea. Thanks anyway. And more thanks if you could give us a choice :)

You can solve that problem by simply moving the Folder you wish to display to the top left of the folders page using the tool provided, the same applies to Albums within the folders, simply move them to where you want them.

Guilty as charged. Yes Nicolas, I only read the first part of your comment without looking any further, typical me, trying to be "Mr Clever Cloggs"
As you say if you want to display something you do not have yet such as Belgium then you'll just have to make one.
I have 40 folders at the moment, several I had to rename, such is life.
