Upload congestion, delays may occur...

Apparently, we are not the only ones having congestion problems. The error message you've mentioned means the Flickr API didn't reply within the delay. Maybe too many API users at the same time...

I tried to import but the script says that I'm not logged into ipernity though have a tab open to it and I'm logged in.

Thank-you for all your hard work, ipernity team. I appreciate there may be problems with such a mass migration but this is a wonderfully welcoming community and I'm happy to be here.

Apparently in addition to all that, the Flickr site itself has been having some troubles and was down in all or large part for about four hours. The Red Sea doesn't want to part for the exodus!

Ah that may be my problem too... I have tried to import 4 chunks but only 1 and 3 have made it across so far. I'll wait a bit and see if the laggards arrive but if not I shall try the logout-login flickr routine.

Flickr's loss is Ipernity's gain. I for one am very impressed with the responses to the couple of queries I've had. Especially the quick response time and imformation supplied. Glad to be here and hope this continues for a long time.

I just wanted to say, again, how wonderful you all have been! I love the little ticker on the right side of my news feed to let me know how many of my photos are still in the queue. That is awesome and helpful! Thank you all so very very much.

Thanks for that clarification. I imagine you must be inundated with new ex-flickr members, so some patience will be required, but at least you tell us the problem and what you are trying to do to fix it :-)

same prob here this morning, i can't organize my albums

Same problem. I was able to get a lot into a couple of existing albums but others would not save in a new one. I have also noticed that the thumbnails in three of my albums (just started with only four pics, so far) have cut off much of the subject (aircraft) although they are ok on opening the images. In fact, they appear cut off in what I'll call my photostream as I don't know the correct name for it in ipernity.
Another thing I have noticed is that I uploaded 320 images of Vietnam individually and some of them did not appear in the order in which I uploaded them. Is this due to overload on the system.
I am very happy with ipernity and confident that someone will be able to help with the snags which are happening today.

HELP ! all of the means of importing photos flash up "quota filled until next month". It's been like this for 18 hours now....I thought there wasn't a quota for club members, or am I missing something ?

There isn't supposed to be. I think they may have limited it for the time being just to streamline things so everyone can upload at least some of their photos and not completely overwhelm the system. I've taken a screenshot of the issue (you can't manually upload the photos here either) and alerted the staff. I'll let you know what they say.
