1) Next season.
Summer is around the corner and the summer collection of homepage pictures and accompanying slideshow are online. See the slideshow on YouTube, and without logging out, see the ipernity homepage here.
A deep thank you to all members who have added new contributions which keeps our website looking fresh. Keep those suggestions coming!And the team gives many thanks to Bernhard and * ઇઉ * for all the hard work they do to make this happen each season!
2) We are on the map!
Thanks to our long time club member and founding member of our association, Eric Desjours, one can now find ipernity on google maps. Simply go to any google maps page and search for 'ipernity'. There you will see the location of our official address, but even better, you can find a description and reviews.As this is a new way for us to promote ipernity we are hoping you can take a few minutes to go to the google maps ipernity page and leave a review. Reviews can even include a photo if you want.
3) Thinking ahead: World Photography Day - 19 August 2023.
In a little over 2 months we will have our 3rd annual World Photography Day event. Once again contributions need to be taken on August 19th, however a member's suggestion has prompted a modification. This year you can add a second photo inserted in the description of the first, if you want. The second photo also needs to be taken on 19 August 2023.

ୱ Kiezkickerde ( ͡°… club has replied to raingirl clubBut reviews don't really have a place there, because it's "just" a free map database, and serves less for discussions or an exchange between the mappers.
In the past, I didn't add ipernity because it doesn't really make sense in a worldwide community to add the local club headquarters - but since this also happened in google maps (where it also makes more sense because of the reviews), I thought that it could also be done in Openstreetmap. Even if we don't meet there regularly, it is still our official club headquarters.

Hinsichtlich der Verbindung mit Bildern fühle ich mich aber überfordert. Ich habe den Wikidata-Eintrag ergänzt, ob dadurch dann entsprechende Fotos angezeigt werden weiß ich leider nicht.
