But in my opinion there are plenty of good art movies done. It only requires some time and effort to find them. And I think Vimeo is better place to start with than Youtube.
Here in Tampere there are annually arranged short film festivals, where art movies and music get visibility and fame.
I like Philip Glass very much,here is another gem of his,again wit Reggio,this is his masterpiece,he reicived Oscar for this documentary,if you find time..its amazing,total meditation.
