Going to re-try flickr ~ Snowdrops PamJ

I have a slow connection and it hates flickr.

I started there in 2008... but Ipernity became my home....

I have looked around and can find nothing else and so... I will try flickr again.. but I do not forgive them ever for what they did.

This move hurts us all.. but we stil have our friendships.. and that is what counts.

You will hear the swearlng as ANYTHING on flickr is very difficult for me with my connection

I thought it was just that the uploads didn't work on Fl*ckr, not because they crashed. That's my problem. If you can't upload anything, what's the point?

I used to get crashed uploads..but it has been pretty stable for a while now..I hope you get better experiences on your return.

I have never tried Flickr, and have not heard any ex user say much positive about it.
So far I have no plans..

See ya there, Pam! I'm under the same username. I kept my Flickr account for free cloud storage, but made all my photos private so that Yahoo wouldn't make a dime off them. Gudrun told me about this group:

which is open only to members, tho you can join freely. I'll probably post photos to it, and maybe some others, but otherwise my albums will _not_ be public.

Only a couple of uploads so far just to try it out again, I find the site difficult but perseverance might pay off in the end. Also registered with 23hq but I'm not to sure about this at the moment.
Suck it and see seems to be the formula for today.

Hi Pam, I think like you, but also I was looking for a long time and I now turn to Flickr. It's not my fav but otherwise was no less bad...
To steal photos have I done the same test and the same experience to steal photos...

I began using Flickr despite having read so much NEGATIVE about the site from previous users that became happy users of Ipernity, a place I found when my earlier cyber home 'Multiply' booted us out.

I have currently 48 Followers of which mostare friends I have on Ipernity.

Like so many others I have been checking several sites, some of them as Photo only, some with a combination of media sharing but was unable to find ant that I could write about in a Positive manner, I wrote about my findings in an Article which was continually updated.
