I have had a interesting day so far starting before 7 am.
I woke up to the sound of two crazy cats careering around the house playing catch. They bounded into my room and as I sat on the edge of the bed doing some back loosening I heard a crash. On turning round I saw the curtains and rail lying on the floor,Sooty popped his head out with a surprised look on his face and the game of chase began again. I surveyed the mayhem and found 3 broken brackets which caused the tumble. I have no idea how it happened but the only solution was a new curtain rail.

I already had plans to go across the bridge to pick pipe fodder and some groceries up,now I had another job. I decided on a pole instead of track so Wilos was the place to get that. With time to spare before the 9:30 free bus I had some breakfast, took the remains of the curtain rail down and measured up for the pole.
Once in town I picked the pipe fodder up and headed to Heron food where I found bargains so I came out with a bulging pack pack and large wax bag all for £12:75.Then it was off to Wilkos for the pole. I found one at a reasonable price and staggered to the bus stop. A sit down was a welcome relief.
On arriving home I ditched everything and plugged in the kettle and massage chair, leaning back on the chair with a hot coffee was just the ticket so I stayed there for an hour.
Then I put the shopping away remembering to dig out the receipt because Jenny will quiz me later on my purchases.
That was all enough strain on my back for one day so fitting the pole can wait until tomorrow.
Aren't cats fun?
