What do these two have in common? well at first glance they are not much to look at,but this is mother nature,take a closer look.
This is a garden pest as we all know but in sharp focus with a little jiggery pokery with the background colours to bring out the bright flower I think it is a pretty little plant,pest or not.
The humble starling isn't much of a looker at at first glance but catch it in the sunlight and the iridescent sheen of it plumage stands out.

Starling too have a beauty in sunlight, they are quite good at copying the songs of other birds too so once more Mother nature did a fine job.
