I awoke to a frosty morning with the cars and grass wearing white.
By the time I had fed and watered the cats and birds the frost was lifting but the wind was bitterly cold. I decided it was no weather for a stroll so just nipped to the corner shop a decision born out on my return trip because there was a hail storm of ear pinging ferocity which had me scurrying for cover.
Since then we have had a mixed bag of hail, rain and watery sun all accompanied by the cold wind.
Luckily it being Saturday I have a full day of sport to watch so I am happy being cabined up for once.
The birds didn't bother about the weather here the starlings have heard the dinner gong.
Time for the rugby,I'll catch up later

Not so cold here, but too cold for wanderings.
