The fog that has been blanketing us for 2 days is finally lifting. It is still very damp and miserable out there but I took a stroll the the shop this morning for some spuds.
Coming back I came across Bimbo heading out to town with more skins on than an onion, I kept him company until the bus came along. Janine got off the bus as he got on so I walked the few yards back home with her.
Back in the home I had a mug of veg soup with crusty bread, just the thing for this weather, next week the weather is forecast to be a lot colder with snow a possibility. We had snow last March so it could happen again.
One of the many things that puzzle me is .Here in the UK why are all fire engines called Dennis?
I took a photo of the fog last night looking the other way down the street towards the channel

Hope you are wrong about the snow - I think I'd better cut the grass quickly before that comes then.
Not a nice forecast but we could also be looking towards snow here, it often happens in March - April here
Funny, but yes, not only Fire trucks are called Dennis, all the old London buses also were called Dennis.
