Another storm has swept in overnight.We have gusts of 65mph at the moment with the worst to come around noon,The wind warning is until 9pm so it is going to be an ucomfortable day
I have a large pan of soup going which I will put in a flask in case of power cuts which are a probability.

Had a bit of wind here last night too.
Good you've got food in to keep your body nourished and warm.
I feel sorry for the birds, they try hard to fly forwards only to end up going backwards.

Yes it arrived here last night too. I could hear it roaring down the chimney and normally I can't hear it because of the double glazing but last night and again today, we could hear the wind and the rain against the windows. It is really a very windy day here and I really don't know when it'll stop
