I was off on my Sunday jaunt to the shops today,it was mild
enough for a walk over. Nothing interesting happened and no
bargain treats but I did get a nasty surprise when I went into B&M,just to remind me the silly season is here again the
Christmas music was playing with Slade in full voice of course.
I had another reminder on the way to the bus stop in the form of
a big banner informing one and all that the Christmas lights in
town will be turned on come Saturday.The gap between the
outbreak of Christmas mania gets shorter from one year to the
next.
Rain set in after lunch stopping my planned pruning of the fruit
bushes,But I had sunshine in my heart because I got to talk to
Max via Skype video.Thanks for brightening up a wet English
afternoon Max.
