Sooty,rose and beer

I have three photographs for you.
The first is Sooty doing his balancing act on the scratching post.

The second is a surprise in the garden,despite all the horrendous weather Margaret's rose has another bloom opening and a few more buds ready.

and finally I found the final two types of beer in the shop today,that's that place all done now and I have a good selection for the festive season stashed away,there is bound to be
something visitors like,just a bottle of Bushmills and a bottle of Brandy to stash now and I'm ready.Ellen will be on duty for buying the food,she always spends Christmas day here anyway and has always bought the meat,the choice is hers.She has another job she doesn't know about yet,chief washer up,in fact only washer up,I cook she cleans,seems fair to me.

Seems more than fair if you do the cooking she does the cleaning. And I doubt she'll complain! That's a funny pic of Sooty balancing herself. And the roses! How nice to still have some! Must be Margaret saying hello as it's so late in the season for them!

I do all the cooking and washing up apart from no cook days and Sunday,then Ellen washes up Gracie, Ellen is away at work for 10 to 12 hours most days out of the house at
5:30am is the norm and not home until 5:30pm 3 or 4 days a week She is a hard worker and has tasks here like laundry etc,she never complains but goes about her work cheerfully,she's good at buying little treats as a surprise as well

Lovely photo of the acrobatics of Sooty. He does look a tad worried though - as if he's saying "what do I do now?"

The rose is so late in flowering but really lovely. Glad to see that your collection of beers is getting big.
