White and Red Corn poppy

Not as interesting as the hedgehog I mentioned earlier but very pretty

I found a lovely red and white poppy in the garden this morning,I looked it up and it appears to be called White and Red Corn Poppy.
I will collect the seeds when the time comes and put them with the rest of the poppy seeds after they have dried out.I intend mixing them all up and sowing them at back end for a good display next year,well that's the plan anyway.

This is a really pretty flower, I've found loads of seeds in the front porch, I think my Mum collected them. So will sow them for next year, otherwise they'll have to be thrown out. It'll be interesting to see what comes up

Beautiful! I've never had any luck with poppy seeds, despite collecting them from various plants that I've bought. Good luck, hope you get some good germination.
