blazing sunshine and giant plant

I moved the computer just in time,this afternoon the sun has been blazing down,it was so warm I got the knees out again maybe for the last time this year.The temps inside topped at 81f about 27c that isn't warm for us it is damned hot.With humidity climbing steeply it's going to be a sticky night.

The strange little plant I put a photo of on here a little while ago has grown up,it is now chest height.

There are loads of little flowers and what look like seed pods on it so not wanting a garden full of them I dug it up today.It is growing from a large bulb which is very similar to a large parsnip in shape and colour.

Didn't you ask John what it is before you dug it up? It looks very interesting though. Maybe your birds brought it here or maybe some of the bird seed you put out for them had this in.

When Mickey showed it first time I did not recognise it because it could have been one of several similar. With the flowers this time round I knew right away.

Very pretty plant. 81 today here too.. I consider this a perfect temp.. Perfect for a ride and no need of the a/c! All what you're accustomed to.

You certainly did the right thing in getting rid of it, one of the most deadly poisonous plants in UK;
Cicuta, commonly known as water hemlock, is a small genus of four species of highly poisonous plants in the family Apiaceae. They are perennial herbaceous plants which grow up to 2.5 meters (8.2 ft) tall, having distinctive small green or white flowers arranged in an umbrella shape (umbel). Plants in this genus may also be referred to as cowbane or poison parsnip. (Wikipedia) where there are photos of the flowers identical to yours.
