A cool damp morning gave way to a cooler wet afternoon. No chance of a stroll today and I have my knees covered up again,and my arms come to that.I had a lovely quiet morning,Ellen at work and the cats off on a two hour adventure,I could almost forget they were here.
I set to and did a little job I was going to do three years ago,well there's no rush. The door to the white throne room has been sticking at the top for that length of time so I finally decided it wasn't going to go away by itself and attacked it with my small hand plane.Only a small job but a good one to do, 35 minutes all done and cleaned up and my reward was a coffee and a couple of choccy biscuits.
I did take a couple of snaps on my morning patrol,more Love in the mist are appearing and one of them had a visitor,cute little fella ain't he?


In the front garden border there are miniature roses and the white ones have little clusters of flowers like thus,they do brighten a dark dismal day up and smell divine.
