As I arose on this my 75th birthday the sun shone brightly through the window,a big improvement on the last few days.My back was in fine fettle as well another improvement
The perfect day for the garden so after breakfast I mowed and strimmed the front grass,as I am on top of things it took less the 30 minutes.
After a coffee I went out the back and mowed and strimmed the whole back garden,this I managed in underan hour.Just then Stephen arrived.We had a coffee outside and he brought me a vbirthday gift. I didn't have to guess what it was as on Christmas and birthdays always he always appears with a bottle of Irish whiskey and very welcome it is.
soon he had fo wander off to work so I cleaned and stowed to tools just as Ellen and Mal appeared. Ellen usually brings me clothes for birthdays ETC but today it was somethingdelightful fo a sweet tooth like me

She didn't know what the theme should be,Mal suggested sport but I have played so many differing sports she didn't know which to pick.
Instead she went back to my wild days when I played drums and it turned out great.
The taste was delish,the girl who made it has a real talent.
Tonight while talking to Jenny I will crack open the Irish,A perfrect end to a good day
